I was at the mall for two hours today and I found nothing suitable! Absolutely nothing…” She trailed off when she saw the nervous smile on Biff’s face. “I am officially putting you in charge of getting a Christmas present for your mother,” she said, marching into the living room. She started talking the moment she opened the apartment door, eager to fill her boyfriend in on her day and eager to hear about his day as well. She’d had a rather long day, so she was happy to be home. Quinn rounded the corner, smiling when their apartment building came into view. McIntosh was able to accept her less-than-perfect past too in the end. Thanksgiving was a family-only holiday, which meant that Biff already considered her to be family and eventually, the rest of his family followed suit, even his mother. Things had gotten serious when he’d brought her home for Thanksgiving a year after they’d rekindled the flames. They’d been dating for over three years now and Quinn was sure that she’d be spending the rest of her life with him. ![]() The process had been slow, but they’d become friends again and then eventually, they’d become more. Quinn was glad that she had stayed with Biff that night at the diner. It felt like an eternity until he heard Quinn’s answer. He took a deep breath, and he began to speak, telling her how much she meant to him, how happy he was that she had given him a second chance, “I love you,” he said before he slowly went down on one knee in front of her opening a small box showing her the ring, “Quinn Fabray, will you marry me?” he asked, Biff was surprised that his voice had been as stead as it was. He waited for Quinn to come and find him, he smiled when he saw her and he walked over to her, greeted her with a gentle peck on her lips. His heart beat fast in chest, his lips were dry, no his whole mouth was dry, he had never been this nervous in his whole life. His tongue moved over his lips, and he took a deep breath. He wanted Quinn to have the ring on her finger when they visited his family for Christmas. Three years and a couple of months after his apology, Biff was pacing back and forth, his heart beating in his chest waiting for Quinn to come home, he needed to do this, he wasn’t sure on how much longer he could wait. A year after that they had moved in together. His mother knew that it was serious the moment Biff had asked if it was okay if he brought Quinn with him for Thanksgiving a year into their relationship. The hardest part for him had been to tell his mother about it all. The second time around, Biff knew that this was it for him. They had taken the time they needed to get to know each other and not get caught up. ![]() The first step had been to apologize to her, and let Quinn decide on what she wanted to do, and Biff couldn’t have been happier to have this second chance. He had slowly realized that when he had met Quinn for the first time, he had been too young to be in a relationship like theirs, but when he realized that he had lost her, it had hurt, and he knew that he had to grow up. They had made the decision to start all over, and now three years later Biff knew that it had been worth it. Biff had tried his best to show Quinn how sorry he was, he had tried to explain his reaction.
